Dr. Peter J Jones, Manitoba, was Founding President of Danone Institute of Canada, a post he held until 2015. He has a prolific career in nutrition and was the Director of the Richardson Centre for Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals at the University of Manitoba through 2018. In his early years, he was a park ranger at Princess Louisa Marine Provincial Park, and his passion for environmental causes has carried over into his work with the Friends of Caren Environmental Protection Group.
